If you were listening to country music on the radio back in the ‘90s, chances are you’re familiar with John Michael Montgomery’s fast-talking smash hit, “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident).”

The tune, known for its quick tempo and rapid-fire lyrics, is just as catchy today as it was 22 years ago!

In fact, country stars Keith Urban and Chris Janson proved that on Oct. 10 when they practiced the song in a bus before taking the stage together at the Grand Ole Opry. Onstage, they explained that “Sold” was a song they both knew from playing in various cover bands early in their careers.

A clip posted to Keith’s Instagram page shows the two artists jamming out on their signature instruments. Keith, who is a guitar whiz, shows off his quick fingers on the neck before Chris, a master on harmonica, wails out on his instrument. But musicianship aside, it was their vocals that really shined. In fact, neither of them took a breath!

Turns out that Keith and Chris’ onstage performance at the Opry was just as amazing as their rehearsal!

“We’re SOLD on this @keithurban and @thechrisjanson duet! 🙌 #OnlyTheOpry,” the Grand Ole Opry wrote on Instagram, alongside a video featuring a portion of the duo’s onstage performance.

We couldn’t agree more!
