What. An. Episode!!! Things got a little intense on of The Voice last night as Team Jennifer’s Shi’Ann Jones and Davon Fleming, as well as Team Miley’s Ashland Craft, competed for the final spot in the top eight. After revealing the seven contestants who were saved by America, the three remaining hopefuls were asked to perform for America’s Instant Save vote. Ashland debuted a softer side of her voice by performing a cover of Keith Urban’s “Tonight I Wanna Cry” and Shi’Ann showed her growth as a singer with a powerful version of “At Last” by Etta James. It was Davon’s jaw-dropping take on Aretha Franklin’s “Ain’t No Way,” however, that launched him into the top 8. Season four winner Danielle Bradbury also stopped by to perform her new single “Worth It.”
But another fun part of the night was when our two favorite judges got up and did a duet together. Blake and Gwen sang together for the 2nd time on The Voice stage…
